Urbane Strukturen in Tarragona/Spanien

Bei der Besichtigung von Tarragona war ich überrascht, wie viele Kreative sich in der Altstadt angesiedelt haben müssen. Mehrere Kreativbüros wie feeling, dessen Fensterscheiben dunkel verspiegelt sind, Wandmalereien und zufällige urbane Strukturen, die für ein Designer-Auge höchst interessant und inspirierend sind.
Obwohl die Stadt ihre besten Zeiten längst hinter sich hat, ist ein Stadtrundgang lohnenswert. Viele Kontraste eröffnen sich und Tarragona hinterlässt einen bunten, chaotisch verspielten Eindruck, den man auch in Städten wie Berlin und Kiew findet, wo Geschichte auf Moderne trifft.
Moderne Streetart steht neben mittelalterlichen Strukturen von Kirchen und Stadthäusern.
Urban structures in Tarragona, Spain
Visiting Tarragona in the north of Spain, I was very surprised about the vivid ancient city center with a lot of creative streetart and abstract urban structures that looked inspiring. The heart of the old town seemed to be populated by artists and creatives opening up graphic design studios like feeling with dark reflecting windows or decorating the walls with art. Besides streetart a bunch of abstract structures and patterns could be discovered that are accidentially interesting for a designers eye.
Modern street art is placed next to medieval church and town house structures and patterns.
Even that the best days of the city seem to lay in the past a tour through the city is worth it. Many contrasts meet each other and leave an impression of a colorful, chaotic and playful city – an impression that also Berlin or Kiew might evoke, where history meets modernity.
